NEW STUDENT FACTS
Class Attendance Policy
Class attendance is critical to achieve successful outcomes in each course and is therefore strongly encouraged for both undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition to improving course outcomes, attendance frequently impacts participation scores as indicated on individual course syllabi for each course taken. Please note, a grade of “F” will negatively impact GPA, thus possibly resulting in suspension for six months. (Tusculum University Catalog)
Technology
- Students use WebAdvisor and Student Self-Service to plan their courses, check schedules and grades and to register for classes. Students may also pay their bill online with WebAdvisor.
- Canvas is Tusculum’s Learning Management System (LMS). You are a member of a training course within Canvas.
- Tusculum students will use the same username and password to login to Canvas, WebAdvisor/Self-Service as well as the campus computer labs.
- Office 365 is our student email system. Students are expected to use student email for college correspondence.
- Information Systems Help Desk can be contacted at TDIS@tusculum.edu or 423-636-7346.
